The Interceptors

The Interceptors
The concept of THE INTERCEPTORS is simple: support charities through the power of music.
THE INTERCEPTORS are a raw, thumping old-school Rock ’n’ Roll and Blues band playing the classic songs of the legends. The line-up: Les Gock (lead guitar), Ray Lee (keyboards & vocals), Roger Brant (guitar & vocals), Mark Rivett (guitar & vocals), John Pearce (bass & vocals) and Tim Sprague (drums).
On Saturday 22 August, the Interceptors rock Countdown for the 3rd Annual Jane Hanks Memorial Fundraiser at The Mosman Club in Mosman, NSW. All proceeds go to the Parkinson’s Disease Centre of Excellence at NeuRA — a centre dedicated to improving the lives of people living with Parkinson’s Disease.
Countdown was the greatest music show ever made in Australia. Les Gock and HUSH were at the forefront of OZ Rock, starring in the very first episode and scoring hits with “Boney Maronie” and “Glad All Over.” Now, with the Interceptors, Les celebrates those years and pays tribute to the bands he shared the Countdown stage with — The Sweet, Queen, The Angels, AC/DC, Michael Jackson, Skyhooks and many more.
Doors open 7:00 PM, band on stage around 8:00 PM.
So, as Molly would say — do yourself a favour and join the fun.
